Moving Soon!!

Today is my last day in the Shamrock House. This is where I came home from the hospital to, so it will always be my first home. I know the place is special to Daddy too because he lived here in college and Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa lived here for a very long time too. I think I'll miss my big yard...so I'll kiss it goodbye...

And just to show how much I've grown while I've lived here...here I am in Mommy's chair and showing off my new tooth! :)

Happy Birthday Gram!

Its always fun to talk about how old ~I~ am...but not so fun to talk about how old Gram is.  I don't understand that though...because nobody seems to believe how old she is anyway.  We had her party at the Americana with GG and Uncle Bubba even came to take me swimming.  We played in the water and had some food and then just played with my bubbles and sunscreen. :)  What a good day...

Vacation!! Hurray! New things to see...new things to get into...  

We played in the pool, we went for a walk on the beach, we went to a nice dinner at Il Forniao (Thanks Uncle Brian)...and it was fun!!  I was really, really good in the car and being in a new place didn't really mess with my sleep at all.  I had to learn all kinds of new "no-no's" and "don't touch"...but our place was nice and I had plenty of space to play with my toys.  Overall, it was a good trip...but I'm glad to be back home...

Happy Father's Day Dada!

For Father's Day I took Daddy to mexican food in Pleasanton and then ice cream. And then the next day, I took him to breakfast. We had good food all weekend and Mommy took this great picture of us on Sunday.

Happy Birthday Nana!

This was a fun day! I got to see Nana and play with Uncle Brian and I didn't even have to take a nap! :) We had cake and ice cream and I got to help Nana open her presents.
Meg got her a beautiful scarf and Grandpa got her a Blu-Ray player. :) Such fun!!!

Pool Time!!! (sort-of)

So this is me and my Jungle Safari Pool and its probably my favorite thing ever. I climb in and out and I walk around in it. And then I chew on the rings and I climb in and out again. And then I look at my belly and wonder where all the water is dripping from by my feet. And then I wander around the yard and put my grassy, muddy feet back in the pool. When the water is turned off my froggy friend joins me and then sticks around and "ribbits" all night long outside Mommy and Daddy's window. I would love to stay in the water forever...but when my lips start turning blue...Mommy says its time to get out.

My Jungle Safari!!!

Look at this thing!!! Its huge!!! Its going to be so much fun for me...when it gets warmer again that is. Mommy and Daddy spent over an hour between the two of them blowing it up today, and now the temperature is going to be too cold out for a while and I won't get to use it. :( I had fun watching them work so hard though...I clapped and laughed and cheered when it started standing up right. I fell on top of the sides and I bounced on it while Mommy tried to blow air into it. And then when they turned the water on it...the water was sooooooooo cold I started to cry and then fell down. :( I think it will be more fun on a hot day...what do you think??

Auntie Kirstie's Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Auntie Kirstie!! We ordered up the hot weather just for you! :) We wanted to make sure it'd be nice enough outside for a BBQ! I think we got what we ordered...how about you? I like it when you come over to visit and especially when Mommy makes yummy things for you to eat...I like that ice cream sandwich cake. :) Have a happy year! (well, starting tomorrow)

Crying Over Spilled Milk...

This is what happens when I shake my sippy cup. I think its funny when I do it with water, but spilled milk is no laughing matter. I'm definitely learning cause and effect these days, and I don't like the "effect" this milk has on me...

Time to PARTY!!!!

Today we had my birthday party and it was HOT! I don't know why I threw up last night and again this morning, so I didn't feel to well most of the day, but I made it through. I napped a little, but I was too excited to figure out what Mommy and Daddy were doing by moving furniture around and hanging things on the wall and then they put BALLOONS in the house! Just like at the grocery store where I can stare at them from the shopping cart! Anyway, I got to play a little and then we had cake, and I even got my own. They sang a song that I don't know and it kind of scared me a little. I didn't know what to do with the cake so I stuck my fingers in it and it felt kinda funny. I didn't really like it... After cake we opened presents and I was super excited to get this Jungle Safari Play Pool!!! It was too heavy for me to pick up, but I can't wait to see Mommy and Daddy blow it up for me! Overall, it was a great day. Lots of food, lots of friends...what more could a girl want? :)

It's My Birthday and I'll Do What I Want To!!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!! Mommy was trying to take her usual picture of me in her rocking chair and I wasn't in the mood. I wanted to PARTY!!!!

I went to daycare today and I had fun playing with all the toys and then I came home for a nap. After my nap we went to dinner at Sweet Tomatoes. Mommy and Daddy like that place because there are so many different things that I can try to eat...and its free for me, so it doesn't matter if I don't like it...they just try something else. I even got to have some ice cream and a little bit of Daddy's brownie. Then we went home and I got to stay up a little later because of the sugar high I was on. Its good to be the birthday girl!

Teeth, teeth, teeth, and one more tooth!!

Guess what!? I just got four more! And they all came in at once over a short two week period! It wasn't any fun and I'm pretty sure that Mommy didn't appreciate getting up in the middle of the night with me again. But they're all here now and I'm learning a few new things. Like not to bite my thumb, not to bite Mommy and Daddy's shoulders, and how to bite a piece off of something. Wanna know the most interesting thing?? My thumb has delayed one of those four top teeth a little and it hasn't come all the way down yet like the others. Hmmmm...
