Happy Anniversary!!!

Look at my Mommy and Daddy!!! They ~actually~ went away for their 2nd anniversary and left me behind!!! (not far...just SF...not long...not even 24 hours) It was great though because I got to hang out with their good friend Candy who took super good care of me. Mommy only cried one time while they were gone...but don't they look so happy in this picture at the restaurant?? I think I'd be okay if they went away once in a while...they spoil me when they come home! ;-)

My New Friend

This is my new friend Waddles. He's a stuffed animal...a rattle...and a teether all in one special friend. He goes places with me in the car and plays with me on the floor. He gives me special kisses when Mommy is around and he even lets me suck on his hat. :) We had a rough day out on the road...so this is us taking a little nap together.

My Friend Gabby

Ohhhhhhhhh...isn't she so cute!!?? This is my new friend Gabby. Hahaha! Get it?? Abby and Gabby??? :) Her Mommy Shannon is one of Nanna's very best friends...so ~she's~ gonna be ~mine~. She was just a little smaller than I was when she was born...can you believe I was so small???

Are you sure??? I just don't know about that. This swinging thing is comfy and all...when its NOT moving...but are you sure you want to turn it on??? Does it ~have~ to move??? Okay... I guess so. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! :) Thanks for turning it back off again! :)

I've got my Daddy!!!! (in neener, neener, neener voice) And you don't! Oh my tummy is soooo full and its so great over here on Daddy's lap!!! We're just hanging out and having a good time. So there!!!! Oh...but wait...um...am I gonna get it trouble for sticking out my tongue at you??

My Friend Brandon

This is my friend Brandon on his 5th birthday. He loves fish, so I gave him a shark for his birthday. It was a warm day so they had a bounce house with a water slide!! And lucky me...I got to hang out with my Daddy allllll day long. It was super fun because he help me for 3 hours and I made his arms sore!!!

I win!!!!

NOW the fight is over...and I won! Hahaha! Mommy thought she won!! Haha! It turns out I was justified in my nursing strike because Mommy wasn't able to give me enough milk. Sooooo...she gave me a bottle for a few days and it was so much faster and easier...and guess what? Now I get a bottle all the time. :) Its still the good stuff from Mommy...but I get it the way that ~I~ want it now. Besides...this is how I'll get it when I go to daycare, so why not start it early and get used to it?? :)

Can you find my toes???

Mommy took this picture while I was sleeping one day because she just thought it was too funny. I was sleeping with my toes tucked under the edge of the bumper because it was too hot for a blanket, but my toes were a little chilly. I'm just discovering my toes now for myself when I'm sitting up...and they are much more interesting than I thought...Mommy plays with them too to get the fuzzies off them.

Yup...I'm up to no good...but don't I look cute doing it?? This is just a picture of me sitting in my chair talking to Mommy and sucking on my fingers. They are sooooooo yummy...I try to share them with Mommy but she doesn't suck on them like I do. So I just smile and take them back. Someday I won't share them at all...but I will share whats going on in my diaper...

Mommy wins!!!

So remember I told you about my nursing strike...yea, well...my mommy is more stubborn than I am. I give up!!! I'll do it her way...she keeps saying its the best anyway. And I figure its better not to make her cry so much when she's trying to feed me. So why am I really giving up?? I've finally gotten so hungry I figure it'd be better to just eat and quit throwing fits and try to put some "more meat on my bones". Its much easier for everyone when I just lay quietly and wiggle my toes. Mommy likes that...

Me and My Daddy

This is my Daddy and me...just hanging out... Everyday when he comes home...he plays with me and holds me funny ways so my Mommy can make dinner. He tickles my tummy and my feet...and I think I'm supposed to do something...but I haven't totally figured it out yet. Just yesterday, this funny noise came out of me and Mommy got all excited...something about a "laugh". Daddy was there too but he missed it and I haven't yet figured out how to do it again for him. I'm workin' on it though...and I'm gonna get it soon...I'm sure of it...

My First 4th of July

Look at my pretty dress!!! I got to wear three different outfits today and this is the only one that I didn't get dirty. :) It was a really nice warm day and we went to Gram and Grandpa's house for dinner and fireworks. I think I liked the fireworks...maybe. The pretty lights and flashes were nice...but the noise wasn't quite so cool. Gram held me tight but I still cried and cried. But then I was quiet all the way home...and I decided to start my first "nursing strike". I want it the way that I want it and that's the only way that I want it and I won't take it unless its the way that I want it. Mommy told Daddy she's gonna win this battle...we'll just see about that...

Early Computer Training

This is Daddy'N'Daughter time. I get to sit with Daddy in the nice cool office and he bounces me up and down. He does some funny things with his hands and then these crazy things pop up in front of me. They have colors and pictures and letters and they all move really fast. I watch and watch and watch and watch...and then I watch some more. :) Daddy says there's nothing better than a Mac...not sure what that is yet...but he's so excited...I'm sure I'll learn...

Hmmmmm...

To Scream...or Not To Scream??? That is the question... I'm no big fan of my car seat, so I usually scream about it until I'm so exhausted I finally fall asleep. But of course this doesn't last long because I usually only sleep until the next stop and then I wake up again. Then I go in the store with Mommy and come back out...and scream again until I fall asleep. But most of the time it ends up just being from one place to another that I scream. Mommy and Daddy are praying I figure out this car seat thing soon...but I think I've already got it figured out...don't I??

Funny things about me...

*I have to scream to fall asleep during the day...but at night...I don't fuss at all.
*I have to scream to poop if its after 5pm...but during the day...I don't make a peep.

*I can push myself up on my hands and pull my head up to see my mobile while on my tummy.

*I can push my tushie up in the air with my feet...but that just scrapes my face on the floor.
*My best friend is the birdie on the wall above my changing table...we smile at each other.
*I have made Mommy take my whole car seat apart TWICE already because I...well...exploded in it.
*I love to be swaddled...but only for night time...not nap time.
*I'm really good with that whole bottle thing now...I don't let it dribble down my chin anymore.
*I have Daddy's feet.
*I have Nanna's hands.
*Uncle Colin says I have a mullet...but I don't know what that is yet.
*I like to see things...so don't hold me facing you...I'll scream.
*I make so much noise at night when I sleep...Mommy won't share a room with me on trips anymore.
*I hate to have my face wiped.
*I don't mind taking showers...but dress me quick or I'll scream!
*I don't like dairy, beef, tomatoes, fries, broccoli, chips, onions, or anything else greasy.
*I sleep 11-12 hours per night and I only nap about 3 hours during the day.
*I weighed 10lbs, 15oz and was 23.5 inches tall on June 13. That puts me in the 75th percentile for height and 50th for weight.
*I love my Mommy and Daddy.
