My First Trip to Apple!!

Daddy and Mommy needed to get out of the house today...so we went for a drive...to...Apple!! Its where Daddy works and they have yummy food for lunches. (I didn't get to taste it but Mommy seemed to like it.) Every time I come to visit Daddy, I'll have to get these great big stickers with my name on them so they know who I am...must be 'cuz I'm important. :) I think I'll collect them...

Sleepy Daddy

I like sleeping...its what I do most of the time. Well...that or cry...or eat...or poop. Hmmm...my life is slow. Anyway...sometimes its nice to snuggle when I'm sleepy...so I thought I would snuggle with Daddy because ~he~ was sleepy.

I'm home today!!!

Mommy and I got to come home today!!! :) We're all sick with a yucky cold, so there's been alot of sleeping going on...just look at me...I'm wiped out. :( I'm laying on a special blankie Mommy's friend Melissa Meek made and I really like it. I'm wearing a onesie that says "Just Hatched" and super comfy pants from Aunt Janell. (my jacket was too big) I think I look little in this picture...but I'm not so small. I weighed 7lbs, 10oz and was 19.5 inches when I was born and when we left the hospital today I was 7lbs, 3oz. (I didn't get any shorter...don't worry:) Nanna was here when we got home and has done a great job helping take care of me and Mommy and Daddy. (Poor Daddy is really sick.) We're glad to be home...now we don't have to worry about all the busy little nurses coming in to wake us up all the time. Ahhhhhhhhh...home sweet home.

I'm here!!!!!

And I did it all on my own!!! (I wouldn't let them evict me!) Mommy's water broke at 2:36am and then her contractions started at 3am. At 3:45am she couldn't lay down through them anymore so got up and got in the shower. (Daddy was sleeping in the guest room because Mommy snored like a Mack truck). Daddy came in at 4:15 and Mommy said he needed to hurry up and get dressed...20 minutes she said. She was already ready to go, so when Daddy asked for some breakfast...Mommy went and made him a bagel with cream cheese. :) Silly parents! :) They got in the car at 5am...arrived at the hospital at 5:18am...and Mommy was already 6cm by 5:45am!!!! I was coming fast!!! Haha! At 7:30am Mommy said she needed to push and I popped out at 8:12am. Mommy and I didn't have any drugs, so I had my eyes wide open and I spent an hour or so just looking around...couldn't see much though. Dr. Belton did a great job and didn't drop me. :) Daddy cut my cord and all the nice nurses wrapped me up nice and tight and warm. Gram, Auntie Kirsten and Wanda were all there and held me...but Mommy got to hold me most. I got comfy blankies, but I like my new hat best!!!

More Lemons...

I guess when you have a lemon tree they just keep on coming... Mommy and Daddy made Lemon Meringue pies too...aren't they pretty??

Lemonade

So...I think the waiting is starting to get to them. :) Mommy and Daddy took the "lemons" they're getting waiting on me and made lemonade. I suppose there was nothing else for them to do today since I'm supposed to be out and wreaking havoc on their lives already. But it looks like they had fun...

Eviction Notice

Mommy says "Its time". Daddy says "Its time". Dr. Belton said yesterday "Its time". Then I heard a piece of paper rustling and Mommy laughed about my "eviction notice". I don't know what that means, but I think it has something to do with getting me out. They keep talking about the 11th, and "being induced". We'll have to see what that really means but for now...I'm just going to hang out and enjoy the warmth in here...people are saying its cold outside.

I'm not coming out!!!

Hahahaha!!!! I'm due today...but I decided not to come out. I got to visit Dr. Belton today and he says I'm ready to go. Daddy says I can come out too, but I heard Mommy say something about a trip out to visit someone...I think her name was Mariannes IceCream. I'm definitely interested in that trip, so I'm going to wait a little longer.

I know my Uncle Colin and Uncle John were here and wanted to see me but its just too comfy in here still. I heard they had to go back to Tennessee and Florida, but I'm hoping they decide to come back and see me soon. I didn't mean to hide...but I really do like it in here too much.

My New Room

Alphabet Soup they say it's called. There are letters and animals and the cutest red gingham you've ever seen. It looks mighty inviting and comfy, doesn't it?? Mommy and Grandma C and Auntie Kirsten got it all set up today!! And Auntie Kirsten worked extra hard on my new swing!

Well...We've moved and Mommy is finally getting some real rest now. She doesn't have much choice because her feet look like big cubes thanks to me...I've dropped into place to come out! I've been told I finally have permission to come out, but I'm not so sure I want to yet. Hmmm...I'll think about it...
